The Network Technician will join an innovative IT systems house specializing in tailored, smart, and green IT solutions for businesses. This role is ideal for a network enthusiast who thrives on technical challenges, focusing heavily on network security and infrastructure resilience. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of modern network infrastructures, alongside the critical analysis and remediation of security vulnerabilities, risks, and network disruptions. The technician will also be instrumental in structuring security processes, developing disaster recovery plans, and strengthening customer IT resilience. Key requirements include deep knowledge of modern network technologies (OSI, TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching) and hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and monitoring tools like Wireshark. Success requires high self-reliance, clear communication, and a proactive, solutions-focused, hands-on mentality.
