This role involves leading and supporting critical testing and commissioning activities for electrical, electromechanical, and electronic equipment on rail maintenance vehicles for a globally leading manufacturer. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing tests according to established protocols, performing necessary adjustments to ensure operational readiness, and conducting autonomous troubleshooting and fault resolution in both electrical and mechanical systems. The technician is responsible for performing specialized electrical measurements, meticulously documenting all test results, and managing the scheduling and coordination of commissioning timelines, including interface management with suppliers, customers, and authorities. Key qualifications include successfully completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, ideally complemented by experience in commissioning rail vehicles.
