Job Summary

The City of Neu-Ulm is seeking a dedicated Digitalization Coordinator to drive administrative modernization and digital transformation within its Central Services department. This pivotal role involves the conceptual development, introduction, and optimization of user-friendly online services, particularly focusing on compliance with the Online Access Act (OZG). Day-to-day tasks include building and expanding end-to-end digital administrative processes, integrating them with the Document Management System (DMS) and specialized procedures to create seamless digital workflows. The coordinator will also advise departments on digitalization matters, lead municipal digitalization projects, and develop and conduct targeted training programs. Key qualifications include a degree in Public Management, Business Administration, or a technical field like Business Informatics, coupled with strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive, service-oriented approach to driving innovation and change.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Public Management (B.A.), Administrative Specialist (Advanced Level II), Digital Enterprise Management (B.Sc.), Data Science Management (B.Sc.), Business Administration, or a technical degree, ideally with a focus on Administrative Informatics or Business Informatics.

Experience

  • Professional experience and profound knowledge in digitalization and/or project management (Desirable)
