Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged and experienced IT System and Network Administrator to join a leading manufacturer of specialty doors in Ampfing, Germany. The core responsibility involves ensuring the high availability of critical applications and systems, including communication, servers, virtualization, MS Office, and end-user devices. Day-to-day tasks include independent management of PC workstations and associated software, comprehensive data management and backup, and user administration. The administrator will also provide IT support and consultation to internal departments and collaborate with external service providers on infrastructure updates and expansions. Key qualifications include a completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) and professional experience, strong practical knowledge of Windows workstation systems, Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, and Active Directory, along with general experience in networking and firewalls. This position offers a responsible and varied role within a dedicated team and a structured onboarding process.
