Job Summary
Join the energy transition as a Power Plant Operator at a modern biomass energy recovery facility in Frankfurt am Main. This role is crucial for ensuring reliable and environmentally sound energy supply, especially as the company plans significant plant expansions. Working in shifts, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring, operation, and control of the power plant systems from the control room. A key focus is on analyzing and resolving faults across the entire plant and control technology infrastructure, performing necessary maintenance, and optimizing system performance. Candidates must have completed vocational training in a relevant technical field (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Electrician, or Chemical Technician) and demonstrate interest in further professional development as a certified Power Plant Operator. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Power Plant Operator, Certified Boiler Attendant, Industrial Mechanic, Electronic Technician, Electrician, Mechatronic Technician, or Chemical Technician. Interest in further education/certification as a Power Plant Operator or Plant Attendant is required.
Experience
- Professional experience in operating complex industrial or power generation plants
- Experience in fault diagnosis and resolution within plant and control technology
- Experience in performing maintenance on operational systems
