Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive project management within the municipal civil engineering sector for the community of Faßberg, located in the Lüneburg Heath. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, needs assessment, implementation, and maintenance of new construction, expansion, and upkeep measures related to roads, street lighting, surface drainage, and hydraulic structures. Key responsibilities include managing public procurement processes (VOB, UVgO), coordinating external planning and engineering firms, and overseeing project acceptance and billing. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on underground, road, or water construction, possesses strong legal knowledge regarding construction and procurement (HOAI), and demonstrates commercial acumen, contributing actively to the strategic development of the municipality and its infrastructure.
