Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position in Berlin offers a competitive starting wage of €18.50/hour and excellent opportunities for direct employment takeover after an initial temporary assignment. The Materials Tester will be responsible for performing production-accompanying materials testing and microstructural analysis, ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in manufacturing. Key day-to-day tasks include metallographic preparation, evaluating test results against established industry standards and norms, and meticulously documenting findings. The role also involves supporting the processing of customer complaints and claims. Candidates must possess a completed qualification in materials testing or a similar field, demonstrate a self-reliant and conscientious work ethic, and be reliable, team-oriented, and proactive. Strong German language skills are essential for success in this role, which operates exclusively in a single-shift system.
