IT Specialist for NEXUS Hospital Information System (KIS NG) | Medizintechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is designed for an IT Specialist or a medical professional with strong IT affinity to manage and optimize the NEXUS KIS NG across multiple clinical locations (Bad Honnef and Bad Berleburg). Day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as the primary KIS Key User, providing first-level support to colleagues, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems independently or escalating them efficiently to external IT service providers via ticket systems. A critical component of the job is continuous process improvement; you will participate in cross-clinic optimization projects, identify opportunities to streamline IT-supported hospital processes, and assist management in analyzing digitalization requirements from clinical departments. The ideal candidate possesses experience in KIS administration (ideally NEXUS), initial support experience, and a strong customer-service orientation, offering flexible working arrangements and mobile work options.
