Job Summary

This role is for an IT Security Architect focused on maintaining and enhancing the security posture of the Kelag Group. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing IT systems for security events, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities through testing, and responding to security incidents to minimize damage. The architect will also be crucial in developing the Information Security Management System (ISMS), participating in services like Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management, and contributing to the design of IT security architectures across the corporation. Key qualifications include a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an IT-focused technical school degree, coupled with at least four years of professional experience in the IT security domain. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this challenging and impactful position.

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Telematics with a focus on IT Security, or HTL Matura (Higher Technical Education) with a focus on IT, Telematics, Network Technology, or IT Security

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the IT Security environment
  • Experience with IT Security standards and norms (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, BSI Grundschutz) (Advantageous)
  • Experience with Security Solutions (e.g., Elastic Stack, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence Platforms) (Advantageous)
