Job Summary

This role is for an enthusiastic PLC Programmer eager to contribute to innovative automation solutions within a strong team environment, primarily based in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities encompass supporting the planning and development of complex control systems, creating PLC programs and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications, and configuring project-specific visualization and drive systems. A critical component of the role involves system commissioning, including the start-up, adjustment, functional testing, and optimization of drive technology, adhering strictly to safety guidelines. The position also requires generating comprehensive technical documentation and conducting customer training for safe plant operation. Candidates must hold a relevant degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, coupled with practical experience in PLC programming and visualization systems, ideally within the Siemens environment.
