Job Summary

This crucial role involves ensuring the strict adherence to animal welfare guidelines across the organization's national and international educational and non-profit projects. The Animal Welfare Officer will be responsible for continuous monitoring of compliance, developing and implementing effective animal welfare measures and concepts, and providing expert consultation to staff on relevant issues. A significant part of the job includes conducting training sessions and workshops to promote awareness, meticulously documenting all processes, and coordinating closely with external partners, institutions, and regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate must possess a completed degree or professional training in Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Animal Care, or a comparable field, coupled with profound knowledge of animal welfare law and practices. Experience in animal welfare projects is beneficial. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to support species protection initiatives within a dedicated, mission-driven team.
