Job Summary
This role involves taking responsibility for the conception and design of complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for various clients across different technology sectors. The PCB Layouter Expert will coordinate layout orders, acting as the primary interface between customers and internal specialist departments. Key day-to-day tasks include creating comprehensive manufacturing documentation, managing and developing component libraries, and advising clients on component strategy. To succeed, candidates must possess extensive professional experience (over 5 years) in PCB layout and be proficient with at least one major ECAD tool (e.g., Zuken CR8000/CR5000, Siemens Xpedition, Altium Designer, Pulsonix). A structured, autonomous work style, high quality standards, and strong communication skills in both German and English are essential for thriving in this challenging environment.
Required Skills
Education
Certification as a PCB Layouter (ZED/FED) or CID/CID+ (IPC) is potentially beneficial but not strictly required
Experience
- More than 5 years of professional experience in PCB Layout
- Experience using at least one major ECAD tool (Zuken, Siemens Xpedition, Altium Designer, or Pulsonix)
- Professional experience in customer consulting and internal coordination
