The Marine Electronics Technician will be responsible for the independent preparation and execution of electrical work orders specifically for ship outfitting. Day-to-day duties include the maintenance and repair of electrical systems onboard vessels, meticulous laying and connection of energy and data cables, and generating necessary testing and measurement protocols for electrical equipment. The ideal candidate holds a vocational qualification as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology (or equivalent) and ideally brings initial experience in marine electrical technology.
