Job Summary

This role involves leading and supervising the complete installation of large-scale energy storage systems, from site setup through to final completion. The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, and managing the project handovers in collaboration with the commissioning and project management teams. A critical aspect of the role is maintaining safety, which includes managing compliance with accident prevention regulations, creating risk assessments, and preparing project-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) documentation. The ideal candidate must possess a background in electrical, electronics, or mechatronics, combined with significant experience in construction site management, particularly in plant construction and medium-voltage systems. This position requires high dedication, proactive thinking, and extensive travel (4-5 days/week) within the DACH region, offering the opportunity to actively shape the energy transition with innovative battery storage solutions.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician, ideally supplemented by further training as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience following vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician, or mechatronics technician
  • Experience in construction site management, especially in plant construction
  • Practical experience with medium-voltage systems, preferably as an authorized person for medium-voltage switching
