Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive financial auditing and internal revision within a modern district administration (Landratsamt). The Financial Auditor will be responsible for examining the county's financial accounts, income statements, and balance sheets, as well as conducting internal audits of subsidiary companies. Key day-to-day tasks include performing focused audits of specific administrative areas, including reviewing the application and regularity of utilized IT systems (EDV), drafting audit reports and remarks, and advising specialized departments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Public Management or equivalent qualifications, possesses strong knowledge of municipal finance, and is proficient in MS Office and preferably SAP. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Diploma in Administration (FH), or comparable degree; alternatively, completed training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt) with subsequent qualification for the higher administrative service.

Experience

  • Knowledge of municipal financial management (Desirable)
  • Professional experience in financial auditing or internal controls (Implied by role)
  • Experience in administrative procedures and public sector regulations (Implied by required education)
