Job Summary

Join the StEB Köln team as a Laboratory Technician, Materials Tester, or Technical Assistant, playing a crucial role in water quality management and material testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive sample management, from registration in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to conducting core analyses such as conductivity, pH, temperature, and suspended solids. You will perform specialized material testing, particularly three-point bending and leak tests on glass-fiber reinforced resin samples, and conduct inspections of industrial and commercial businesses to ensure compliance with local wastewater regulations. This position also involves fieldwork, including gas space measurements in the sewage system using data loggers to assess odor emissions, requiring physical resilience and the ability to operate a laboratory vehicle (van).
