Job Summary

This role involves executing and planning material testing procedures focused on quality and failure analysis within metal technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include sampling, preparing, and microscopically examining material specimens, determining mechanical properties using standardized testing methods, and performing comprehensive metallographic analyses, including sample preparation and microstructure assessment. Additionally, the Materials Tester will apply non-destructive testing (NDT) methods for crack and defect detection and collaborate closely with quality control to evaluate test results.
