Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector specializing in the final inspection of drop-forged parts within a dynamic production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing various NDT methods, primarily Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and ideally Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Visual Testing (VT), ensuring all forged components meet stringent quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting geometric dimensional checks, documenting results in detailed protocols, assessing deviations, and actively participating in continuous improvement processes (CIP). Key requirements include a technical background in metal technology or quality assurance, and essential Level 2 certifications in PT and MT (ISO 9712 or equivalent). This position offers a varied role within a modern forging and production setting, providing structured processes, high-quality testing equipment, and opportunities for further training and development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training in metal technology, material testing, or quality assurance. Certification in UT and VT is desirable.

Experience

  • Certification in PT and MT, Level 2 (ISO 9712 or equivalent)
  • Professional experience in a drop forge or metal processing production environment (advantageous)
