Job Summary

This role is for a Test Bench and Harness Designer at ALTEN, a leading development service provider focused on innovation in engineering sectors like Aerospace. The core responsibilities involve the design and construction of complex electrical and mechanical components for test benches. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools like CATIA 3DX, designing wiring harnesses and schematics using tools such as Capital Mentor and Eplan, and defining the overall Test Bench hardware architecture, including sensor placement and signal routing. The role also requires performing design validation through static and dynamic stress analyses and preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions. Candidates must possess a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, coupled with relevant professional experience in the aerospace sector and familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASME).
