Job Summary

The Web Analytics and Tracking Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive tracking strategies to measure and optimize marketing and communication activities for Sparkassen and their partners. This role involves configuring, implementing, and continuously improving web tracking and tag management solutions (both client- and server-side), as well as managing the Consent Management Platform to ensure legal compliance. The ideal candidate possesses a background in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in web tracking, digital analytics, or marketing technology. Key responsibilities include evaluating new tracking technologies, driving the development of a standardized tracking library, and acting as the central point of contact for all tracking and data quality inquiries. Success requires strong technical understanding of modern websites, proficiency with the Google Marketing Platform (GTM, GA), experience with Agile methodologies, and the ability to confidently advise stakeholders on data-driven decision-making.

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Minimum three years in a similar role in web tracking, web analytics, digital analytics, or marketing technology
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform, specifically Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Google Ads or other tracking and campaign tools (Ideally)
  • Experience in agile software development (e.g., Scrum)
