Job Summary
Precitec GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Lead Engineer, Embedded Systems to spearhead the development and implementation of innovative algorithms for demanding laser applications. In this key role, you will provide technical and potentially disciplinary leadership to an interdisciplinary team of electronics and software developers, driving the design and implementation of complex, time-critical algorithms, often utilizing modern, AI-supported development tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing existing software solutions, transferring them to new hardware platforms, and defining development standards and best practices. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) and possesses at least two years of experience in leading development teams or deep expertise in embedded systems development, coupled with profound knowledge of software development, system architecture, and custom Linux systems (e.g., Yocto).
