Job Summary
The State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Supply (LSJV) in Rhineland-Palatinate is seeking a dedicated First Level Support Specialist to join their IT department (Referat 14) as a temporary replacement for a duration under one year. This full-time role involves acting as the face of the IT department, ensuring user satisfaction, and maintaining functional workstations across the Trier, Mainz, and Landau locations. Day-to-day tasks include providing direct First Level Support, efficiently managing and processing trouble tickets, and handling user accounts. The specialist will also be responsible for the installation and provisioning of standard and home office workstations, as well as creating essential documentation, user handouts, and knowledge base articles. Candidates must possess completed vocational training in IT or equivalent professional experience, coupled with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Client Operating Systems and Microsoft Office, along with proficiency in Endpoint Management, CMDB, and ticketing systems.
