Job Summary
This part-time role (20-30 hours/week) focuses on ensuring the reliable IT functionality for 50+ employees, both in the office and working remotely. The specialist will serve as the central point of contact for daily IT issues, managing the help desk via a ticketing system, prioritizing tasks, and resolving standard support cases, with a strong emphasis on Workplace and Microsoft 365 environments. Key responsibilities include setting up notebooks, managing user accounts and permissions, coordinating hardware maintenance and repairs, and supporting core applications like Outlook, Teams, and VPN. The role also involves structured onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining documentation, and collaborating closely with senior IT staff and external partners on infrastructure topics (network, firewall, server). The ideal candidate has practical IT support experience, strong Microsoft 365 proficiency, and a service-oriented mindset, contributing to process improvement and user coaching.
Required Skills
Education
IT apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is a plus but not mandatory
Experience
- Practical experience in IT Support or IT Operations (via apprenticeship, studies, or career change)
- Professional experience managing Windows clients and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows notebooks
- Experience working with a ticketing system and maintaining documentation
