Job Summary

This role involves providing essential 1st and 2nd Level IT support for customers, focusing heavily on Cisco environments (UC, LAN, WLAN, Meraki). The successful candidate will work closely with other IT departments, performing remote and on-site troubleshooting, analyzing errors, and resolving disruptions. Key responsibilities include documenting all incidents in a ticketing system (ideally ServiceNow), maintaining the knowledge database, and escalating complex issues to Third Level support or manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have a completed IT qualification (such as an IT Specialist or IT System Electronics Technician) and professional experience in IT support or a User Helpdesk, coupled with knowledge of Windows infrastructures and client operating systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, PC and Network Specialist, IT Customer Consultant, IT System Electronics Technician, IT Service Technician, Information Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Support, User Helpdesk, or comparable IT Service Desk
  • Experience in the Cisco environment (UC, LAN, WLAN, Meraki)
  • Experience with the installation and administration of client operating systems
  • Experience in handling ticketing systems
