Job Summary

This critical global role seeks an Expert in Pharmaceutical Cleanroom Operations and Technology to serve as the Global Process Owner, defining and implementing cleanroom standards across SCHOTT Pharma’s worldwide sterile and non-sterile manufacturing sites. The expert will lead global, cross-functional teams to ensure robust contamination control strategies, regulatory compliance (ISO and GMP, including Annex I), and continuous improvement of cleanroom environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing global monitoring programs, defining and enforcing gowning protocols, providing expert guidance for technical implementation, and tracking new regulatory requirements. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in pharmaceutical engineering, microbiology, or a related field, coupled with at least five years of experience in pharmaceutical cleanroom setup or environmental monitoring. Success requires strong communication skills and fluency in English to effectively drive global standards and foster a culture of quality and responsibility across the organization.

Experience

  • At least 5 years in cleanroom setup, management, operation, and/or environmental monitoring/microbiology within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience in the design and implementation of GMP-compliant processes and procedures
