This leadership role involves actively shaping the future of innovative materials by heading the Glass Development department. The Head of Glass Development will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of an expert team, strategically managing critical R&D projects focused on specialty glasses and glass-ceramics. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and developing a multidisciplinary team, driving research projects from conception to market readiness, and developing new glass formulations and process innovations for high-tech applications. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in a natural science field (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science) and possesses deep knowledge of glass chemistry and physics. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, a passion for innovation, strong communication skills, and proven experience leading R&D projects and/or teams, making this an ideal opportunity for a materials science expert ready for executive leadership.
