Job Summary

This role is for an Application Manager specializing in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to drive digitalization within HENSOLDT's manufacturing division in Ulm. The core responsibilities include the operation, maintenance, and continuous development of the Siemens Opcenter MES solution and the PAC machine integration software. Day-to-day tasks involve managing complex interfaces between MES, ERP, and machinery, translating business requirements into precise technical specifications, and providing essential second-level support for production-related IT systems, including error analysis and resolution. Key qualifications include a university degree in Computer Science or Engineering, proven experience in MES Application Management, strong proficiency in SQL and object-oriented programming (specifically C# and Java), and practical experience utilizing DevOps methodologies within agile environments, specifically using the Atlassian stack. The position requires strong communication skills in both German and English and the ability to obtain a security clearance (VS-NfD).
