Job Summary

This role involves joining a 100-person service team dedicated to a long-term customer project with a fixed operational base in Northern Munich. As a Service Specialist focusing on Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), your primary responsibilities include the electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC-controlled CMMs and associated peripheral equipment. You will be crucial in analyzing fault causes, ensuring sustainable error resolution, and developing effective countermeasures. Day-to-day tasks also involve meticulous documentation of work in SAP, direct communication and consultation with the end customer, and supervising external firms for maintenance orders. The ideal candidate brings several years of relevant professional experience in CMM maintenance and a completed electrotechnical qualification (such as Electronics or Mechatronics Technician). This position requires a customer-friendly demeanor, cooperative teamwork, high affinity for digital topics, and a readiness for shift, Saturday, and on-call work.
