Job Summary

This internship offers a fascinating opportunity to contribute to the future of E-Mobility within an international technology group. As an Embedded Software Development Intern, you will be deeply involved in the development cycle for control unit prototypes. Daily tasks include assisting in creating detailed requirements documentation, developing reusable functional software modules, and supporting the adaptation and maintenance of existing codebases. A key responsibility will be implementing and verifying software using EvaBoards, alongside creating necessary user documentation. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Electrical Engineering, IT, or Automotive Engineering. Ideal qualifications include initial knowledge of power electronics, inverter technology, and embedded software development for automotive controllers, coupled with familiarity with standard automotive bus systems like CAN and FlexRay. The role requires excellent English and good German proficiency, along with a systematic, autonomous, and team-oriented work style. Required Skills

Education

Enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable degree program; Proof of current university enrollment is mandatory.

Experience

  • Professional experience in embedded software development (knowledge of current automotive controller families beneficial)
  • Initial knowledge in power electronics, inverter technology, drive technology, or electronic components
  • Familiarity with standard automotive bus systems
