Job Summary

This role involves shaping the future IT landscape for a major water and environmental protection organization in Hamburg. The Enterprise Architect will be crucial in defining, developing, and overseeing central IT processes within the context of the digital strategy and IT Governance. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining a holistic enterprise architecture, focusing on business processes, IT systems, data flows, and underlying technologies. The architect will advise specialized departments and IT on strategic decisions, such as cloud migration, system integration, and defining architecture principles and governance structures. A key focus is promoting interoperable, cloud-based systems through API strategies and loosely coupled architectures, ensuring transparency, reusability, and innovation while managing risks and enabling decentralized responsibility.
