Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to join EDG Entsorgung Dortmund GmbH, a municipal waste management company focused on sustainability and digital transformation. The Business Intelligence Specialist will be instrumental in developing and optimizing the company's data infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing source system data structures, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, and developing customized data models using the QlikSense and NPrinting BI environment. A key focus will be supporting Controlling and Material Flow Management by designing, creating, and optimizing essential reports and dashboards for the corporate group. The ideal candidate holds an IT degree or relevant vocational training, possesses initial professional experience in data modeling and reporting, and is proficient in analyzing data structures, particularly within an ERP environment, and creating SQL queries.
