Job Summary
This role seeks a skilled Software and Control System Engineer to drive the implementation of workflows within complex control systems. Key responsibilities include evaluating use cases, designing generic data structures for measurement datasets, and defining and developing generic interfaces for seamless data exchange. The engineer will also be responsible for the planning, monitoring, and coordination of deployed software packages, requiring close coordination with cooperation partners and meticulous documentation of the entire development lifecycle. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science or Engineering and possesses initial experience in software development. Essential technical qualifications include proficiency in C++ and Python, practical experience with modern development tools like Git/GitLab, CI/CD, and Docker, and a strong grasp of design patterns, software architecture, and data modeling. Fluency in both German (C1 level) and English is required for effective collaboration.
