Job Summary
Join the Institute for Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Pharmacology at the University Hospital Bonn as a Technical Assistant. This full-time or part-time position, initially a parental leave cover until November 2027 with potential for extension, focuses on cutting-edge research into the role of secondary DNA and RNA structures in immune system activation and their impact on cancer. You will engage in diverse laboratory tasks, including cell culture, yeast cell work, and handling patient material. The ideal candidate is a motivated and engaged team player who can also work independently, contributing significantly to the research group's goals. Solid English skills are essential as it is the working language in the lab.

Education
Completed training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA), or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA)
Experience
- Professional experience in Transfection, RNA Isolation, qPCR, ELISAs, FACS, and Cell Culture (S1 and S2)
- Experience in laboratory organizational tasks
