Job Summary

This role involves working as an Electrical Design Engineer for a leading global company in the optical and optoelectronic industry, based in Oberkochen, Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently creating structural and circuit diagrams, cable and parts lists, and designing control cabinets for operational equipment construction. You will be actively involved in the procurement process for electrical devices and machinery, overseeing acceptance testing, and ensuring technical documentation is properly prepared. A key focus is material selection and guaranteeing clean, standard-compliant machine cabling, particularly within a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate possesses a foundational electrical engineering qualification, further education as a Certified Technician, 1-3 years of professional experience in electrical design or automation technology, and fluent communication skills in both German and English. Proficiency in EPLAN P8 is mandatory.
