Job Summary
This is a pivotal, full-time role as the Deputy Head of Financial Administration for the Mering Administrative Community, offering stability and significant development opportunities within the public service. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively shaping the financial future of the region by managing budget, finance, and investment planning for the Administrative Community, its member municipalities (Schmiechen and Steindorf), and the Wastewater Association. Key tasks include deputizing for the Head of Financial Administration, advising local mayors on financial matters, conceptualizing asset recording and fixed asset accounting, and handling complex treasury affairs and reporting for four distinct clients. Candidates must possess strong qualifications in public administration (BL II or equivalent), excellent knowledge of budgetary law and municipal finance, and demonstrated leadership potential, along with proficiency in standard office software.

Education
Completed qualification as Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt - BL II) or successful completion as a Diploma in Public Administration (FH)
