Job Summary
This critical role involves leading the internal Incident Response (IR) function for the Schwarz Group, ensuring robust cyber defense mechanisms are in place 24/7. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the IR portfolio, overseeing stakeholder relations, and driving the continuous development of the Cyber Security Incident Management process and associated workflows. A key focus is the development and execution of tailored training programs for IR Analysts and Shift Leads, ensuring the team maintains high analytical quality standards. The Lead IR Manager is expected to personally lead major security incidents and provide technical support to analysts when needed. Candidates must possess a strong IT background, substantial professional experience in Incident Response, and proven leadership capabilities. Familiarity with standard IR tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR) and deep technical knowledge of cyber-attack techniques are essential, making this an ideal role for an experienced professional ready to lead a high-stakes security team.
Required Skills
Education
Foundational IT qualification (Vocational training with further education or University degree), ideally focused on Informatics.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Incident Response
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience with 24/7 shift operations (ideal)

- Willingness to travel occasionally to Spain.
