Job Summary
This role is for an IT Specialist/System Engineer focused on Smart Grid technologies, based in Dachau, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of alarm lists, creating tickets for disturbances, and providing remote troubleshooting for intelligent local grid stations (LTE/DSL routers) and broadband powerline devices across Germany. A key part of the role involves offering telephone support to field services for on-site commissioning and troubleshooting. The position also requires working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for powerline device troubleshooting. This is a temporary position until December 31, 2025, with potential for extension or permanent employment.

Master Craftsman/Technician or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in system maintenance and monitoring
- Experience with remote troubleshooting of IT and telecommunications equipment
- Experience in supporting field service operations
