Job Summary
The City of Osterode am Harz is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer for Civil Engineering to manage a diverse portfolio of public works projects, including sewer, road, bridge, and hydraulic construction measures. This critical role involves preparing comprehensive tender documents, conducting local surveys, obtaining necessary permits, and overseeing the procurement and settlement of contracts. The engineer will act as the construction manager (Bauleitung) for municipal projects, independently processing construction projects, managing additional offers and amendments, and providing technical guidance to external engineering firms. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, strong knowledge of public procurement law (VOB/HOAI), project management skills, and experience with CAD systems.
