Job Summary

This role involves the independent project planning and development of control systems for complex machinery and industrial plants, combining electrical design and software engineering expertise. Key responsibilities include programming PLC software, specifically using Siemens Simatic S7 V5.5 and TIA-Portal, and developing corresponding visualization systems (WinCC flexible/TIA-Portal, databases, scripting). The engineer will be crucial in commissioning machines both locally in Emsdetten and at customer sites, requiring collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth project execution. A significant part of the job includes programming and commissioning robotic systems, primarily FANUC robots, and actively optimizing production processes with clients. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation Technology or an equivalent technical qualification, possess strong programming skills in PLC and visualization systems, and have experience with safety, drive, and robotics technology. Good English skills are advantageous, making this an ideal role for an innovative engineer seeking varied, challenging projects in a modern corporate culture.
