Job Summary

This role involves specialized electronics manufacturing within the aviation sector, focusing on the operation and maintenance of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production lines. Day-to-day tasks include manufacturing electronic assemblies, setting up, operating, and maintaining specialized SMT equipment such as screen printers, pick-and-place machines, vapor phase soldering systems, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. A key responsibility is creating and optimizing placement and inspection programs, continuously monitoring and improving the SMT production process, and troubleshooting technical faults. The ideal candidate must have vocational training and professional experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically with SMT processes. This position offers a long-term perspective with the option for permanent employment after an initial temporary contract, requiring mandatory security clearance for aviation work.
