Job Summary
This is a key role for a dedicated Field IT Service Technician responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems within the EDEKA retail network in the Hessenring region. Day-to-day duties involve independently analyzing and resolving technical faults, performing expert maintenance, and executing the installation and rollout of new cash register systems, including their integration into existing infrastructure. A critical component of the role is the self-responsible planning and organization of service routes and assignments. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification or comparable professional experience, coupled with a strong technical understanding of retail market processes and the relevant software.
