Job Summary

This role is for a Business Development Manager specializing in Rheumatology, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and assessing innovations, product opportunities, and indication expansions in alignment with the product strategy. The manager will lead and professionally guide cross-functional innovation and evaluation teams, conduct thorough customer, competitor, and benchmark analyses in close cooperation with Brand Managers, and develop and update business cases with stakeholders like Controlling. A key part of the job involves documenting evaluations, conducting risk assessments, deriving recommendations, and initiating strategic measures. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Natural Sciences (preferably with a doctorate) and possesses relevant professional experience in Business Development or Portfolio Management within the pharmaceutical industry. Success requires strong project management skills, deep knowledge of rheumatology and the product portfolio, and fluent communication in both German and English, coupled with a strategic, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
