Job Summary

This role is based at Hamburger Energienetze GmbH, Hamburg's largest energy distribution network operator, focusing on the infrastructure and operation of intelligent metering systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for designing processes for metering operations, ensuring strict adherence to Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating and conducting acceptance tests for smart metering systems, administering these systems, and ensuring their high availability. The position requires managing complex work packages within cross-departmental projects and developing company positions to be represented internally and externally. Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, coupled with knowledge of the legal frameworks governing the energy industry. Proficiency in project management (IPMA Level D or comparable) is essential, along with strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative.
