Job Summary

This role involves the installation, configuration, and administration of server and client systems, along with associated network services (including Windows, Linux, and potentially VMware), working both independently and as part of a team. A core responsibility is providing comprehensive user support for software and hardware issues via various channels (in-person, phone, email, remote). The specialist will ensure the availability, performance, and user-friendliness of servers and their applications, while actively contributing to the expansion, design, and development of the company's multi-site IT infrastructure and related support functions. The ideal candidate holds a completed IT System Administrator qualification or equivalent, possesses strong system administration knowledge, and has excellent German language skills.
