Job Summary

This role involves executing critical non-destructive material testing (NDT) on Trent series engine components for N3 Engine Overhaul Services, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Rolls-Royce, located near Arnstadt. The Materials Tester will primarily perform Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) procedures, meticulously documenting and interpreting the results to ensure the highest safety standards in aviation technology. Key responsibilities include generating detailed inspection reports and carrying out component cleaning and preservation tasks. Candidates should possess a completed vocational training in materials testing or a metalworking trade, coupled with a strong quality focus, reliability, and the willingness to work shifts and weekends.
