Job Summary

This role involves independent planning and construction management for civil engineering projects within the urban drainage department of the City of Ibbenbüren. The technician will be responsible for managing property connection lines, pressure drainage systems, and existing sewer construction and repair measures using open construction methods. Key daily tasks include project billing, documentation, and the financial processing of complex measures, particularly those involving construction on existing infrastructure. The position requires coordinating architects, construction companies, utility providers, and clients, as well as independently organizing maintenance for all rainwater retention and overflow basins within the city area. Candidates must possess a certified Civil Engineering Technician qualification, strong technical understanding of urban drainage systems (sewer networks, pumping technology, and special structures), and expertise in relevant construction and public procurement regulations (VOB, HOAI, DIN).
