Job Summary

This crucial full-time position in Oberhausen is with INTOCAST AG, a leading global specialist in refractory products, supporting the expansion of their European production capacity. The Industrial Electrician will be the cornerstone of operational continuity, primarily focusing on the electrical maintenance, repair, and scheduled servicing of complex production machinery and plant systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance according to schedule, and actively participating in the electrical construction and commissioning of new production lines and major projects. A key technical component involves setting up and adjusting robotic systems. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as an Industrial Electrician for Operational Technology or a comparable role, coupled with strong technical aptitude. Experience with Siemens S7/S5 PLC systems is highly desirable, as is knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This role requires flexibility, including working in a multi-shift system and participating in future weekend on-call duties.
