Job Summary
This role involves supporting public prosecutors and courts in complex commercial criminal proceedings by providing expert financial and business analysis. The consultant will be responsible for creating detailed expert opinions and audit reports, focusing on critical areas such as determining insolvency/over-indebtedness, analyzing credit engagements in banking cases, and assessing fraud (capital investment, subsidy fraud) and breach of trust cases. Key activities include the expert evaluation of balance sheets, financial statements, and corporate accounting records, as well as the preparation of corporate data using specialized analysis software. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in business administration or economics and substantial professional experience in auditing, tax consulting, internal auditing, or financial accounting, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of commercial and corporate law. This is a full-time, permanent position within the Leipzig Public Prosecution Office, offering a challenging and responsible role in a public service context.

Experience
- Multi-year professional experience corresponding to educational background in auditing, tax consulting, internal auditing, or financial accounting
- Professional experience in operational accounting (bookkeeping, balancing, accounting systems)
- Professional experience with Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht (Commercial and Corporate Law)
