Job Summary

This role is perfect for an expert in machinery, drive technology, and electrical machine construction who thrives on complex testing processes and precision. The Test Field Employee will be responsible for conducting final electrical acceptance tests and detailed diagnostics on various repaired electric motors and generators, ranging from standard three-phase motors to high-voltage machines (up to 5 kV). Daily tasks include measuring insulation and winding resistances, performing high-voltage tests, conducting idle and partial load tests to assess current draw and noise, and performing vibration measurements according to EN 60034-14. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Machinery and Drive Technology or a similar field, possesses solid knowledge of three-phase technology and electrical schematics, and is proficient with modern testing and measuring equipment. This position offers a well-equipped test field, structured training in complex procedures (including explosion protection and high voltage), and a permanent contract within a supportive team environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship/qualification as Electronics Technician for Machinery and Drive Technology, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable qualification with experience in electrical engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or electromechanics
  • Experience in handling testing and measuring equipment (e.g., insulation testers, oscilloscopes, voltage meters)
  • Experience in the test field for electric motors, or strong motivation to be trained in this area
  • Knowledge of three-phase technology, windings, circuit diagrams, and measuring procedures
