Job Summary

This role is perfect for an experienced System Engineer specializing in Linux environments who is ready to take ownership of critical server infrastructure within the financial and public administration IT sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the conceptual development and administration of the existing Linux-based system landscape, ensuring high availability in line with IT compliance and BCM requirements. A significant part of the job includes managing external service providers, optimizing IT service processes, and leading/contributing to key IT projects such as migrations, automation, and security initiatives, specifically within the Linux domain. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, deep expertise in Linux (RedHat), server/storage technologies (SAN, VMware ESX, AIX), and practical experience in IT project management and ITIL processes. Strong German and good English skills are mandatory for success in this dynamic, full-time, and permanently contracted position.
